Volunteer

Date: Saturday, April 25, 2026
Location: Horizon Events Center (2100 NW 100th Street, Clive, Iowa), Enter through door H2

Upon arrival for your shift, please report to Volunteer Headquarters to check-in and get a volunteer shirt. 

• Enter through door H2

• Take a left into the main court area

• Volunteer Headquarters is about halfway down the court area on the left (south side)

If you are a morning greeter,  or morning Admission & Apparel volunteers - please plan to be in place at the admissions or RBI apparel table in the foyer no later than 6:45 am for orientation.

Light snacks and lunch will be provided for all volunteers! Horizon Events Center also has a concession stand for additional options throughout the day.

Roles

Admissions: Manages spectator entry by verifying pre-purchased tickets, processing door sales, and checking in guests with free admission passes, ensuring a smooth check-in process.

Apparel and Merch: Oversees the sales and distribution of event-branded apparel and merchandise, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience for attendees. Refold and restock items as needed.

Crowd Control: Helps direct spectators, maintains clear walkways, prevent passage for restricted areas, and ensures a safe and organized environment around the competition and warm-up areas.

Greeter: Welcomes attendees as they arrive, provides general event information, and helps direct spectators, athletes, and volunteers to the appropriate areas.
