Spot/Load: Maintains athlete safety by quickly and efficiently loading the correct weights on the bar and spotting lifters to prevent injury in case of a failed attempt.
Scorer: Records and tracks each lifter’s attempts, successful lifts, and overall standings to ensure accurate competition results.
Stage Expediter: Manages the flow of lifters onto the platform, ensuring they are ready and in position for their attempts in a timely manner.
Floor Expediter: Coordinates lifters in the staging area, keeping them informed of their queue order and directing them toward the platform when needed.
Warm-up Expediter: Oversees the warm-up area, ensuring lifters stay on schedule, have access to appropriate equipment, and are prepared before heading to the competition floor.
If this is your first meet volunteering on the platform, please be sure to review our Women’s Barbell Classic Rulebook and familiarize yourself with judging and scoring protocols. Our Platform Procedures are another good resource to review prior to your arrival.
