Through our HERoic program Raise the Bar Initiative (RBI) partners with various non-profit organizations in the Des Moines area in the hopes of bringing our mission to those who participate in their programs. All of these non-profits are focused on lifting up girls and/or women right here in our Des Moines community. We all agree that by working together we can make a bigger impact.

Our HERoic program is modeled after our Barbell Club, but we adapt it to fit the needs of each non-profit we partner with while keeping the core fundamentals intact. We teach girls/women how to move, use strength training equipment, how to feel confident in a gym and have open conversations about important topics.

We were fortunate to start out first collaboration with the YWRC during Spring Break of 2023 and have since partnered with the Beacon, Dorothy’s House, Youth Justice Initiative, and the IOWA Foundation.
